Celebrate 20

The Tennessee Aquarium opened on May 1st, 1992 and is proud to celebrate 20 wonder-filled years on the Chattanooga Riverfront. The Scenic-City’s “Renaissance on the River” is an amazing story of urban renewal that began with the opening of the Aquarium. For many, the iconic glass peaks that top the Aquarium are a symbol for what we can achieve as a community. We have much to celebrate, but most of all, we look forward to partnering with you to ensure the Aquarium's future is as bright as its remarkable past.
