Dig Dinosaurs at
Creative Discovery Museum
Kids
really dig dinosaurs at Creative Discovery Museum in
Chattanooga, Tennessee, just two blocks from the Tennessee
Aquarium. Kids can discover the fun of a life-size dinosaur
dig in the Field Scientist's Laboratory, one of the Museum's
permanent core exhibits. After you see "T-Rex: Back to the
Cretaceous" at the IMAX 3D Theater next door, come to the
Museum and learn more about the king of the dinosaurs.
In the Museum's Field Scientist's Laboratory, children can
dress up like dinosaurs, dig in a simulated field site and
uncover dinosaur bones, walk beneath a life-size T .rex skeleton,
hear what an extinct herbivore may have sounded like, study
flip charts, identify bones, and see how real paleontologists
work and study. This is hands-on fun even parents can enjoy.
The Museum will feature special field scientist and dinosaur
related activities while "T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous" is
showing at the IMAX 3D Theater next door. There's always something
new to do at the Creative Discovery Museum, so call (423)
756-2738 for activity dates and times, or check our web site
