HOURS OF OPERATION
First admittance to the Aquarium is at 10 a.m. with last admittance at 6 p.m Eastern Time. The Aquarium closes at 8 p.m. The Aquarium and IMAX 3D Theater are open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas day. The Aquarium ticketing center opens at 9:30 a.m. daily.

Spend a cool birthday at the Aquarium and Cold Stone Creamery
If you're looking for something fun to do on your birthday let the Tennessee Aquarium and next door neighbor Cold Stone Creamery plan your day. Start the party at Cold Stone Creamery with a chance to make your own ice cream, sample lots of flavors, take a tour of the shop and play games with the staff.
For a private party prior to opening, book between 10am and noon. Packages with your choice of ice cream, cakes or cupcakes start at $6 per person. For reservations email or call 423-267-0888.
Then head on over to the Tennessee Aquarium where the birthday child gets in for free. Also included is a 10% discount for everyone in the group, one free souvenir group photo and a birthday button for the child. No reservations are needed, just mention the Birthday Package at the aquarium ticketing center upon arrival.
