Venues & Prices

Tennessee Aquarium Experience
If you really want to impress your guests or you have a large group, rent both Aquariums - River Journey and Ocean Journey - for a night full of festivities. Scatter your food options throughout both Aquariums and let your guests come and go. This is an ideal setting for any event no matter the season.

• $2,400 rental fee for up to 100 guests. Includes use of outdoor pavilion.
• Additional guests $20 each.
• Available nightly from 7 — 10:30 p.m.
• Food, tables & chairs provided at additional cost through approved caterers.
• Drink and bar options provided by the aquarium.

• Includes Aquarium Auditorium (additional fee for AV support) that seats 200 and makes a great location for a presentation.

 

River Journey
The original aquarium building offers a great venue to celebrating the holidays or entertain clients. Enjoy a private tour, bring in a band and dance the night away.

• $1,600 rental fee for up to 100 guests. Includes use of   outdoor pavilion.
• Additional guests $13 each.
• River Journey accommodates 200 for a sit-down dinner and 700 reception style.
• Available nightly from 7 — 10:30 p.m.
• Food, tables & chairs provided at additional cost through approved caterers.
• Drink and bar options provided by the aquarium.

Ocean Journey
With spectacular views of the riverfront, your guests will thank you over and over again. Bring in some light music and enjoy your own private night inside the new saltwater Aquarium all evening long.

• $1,300 rental fee for up to 100 guests.
• Additional guests $11 each.
• Ocean Journey accommodates 50 for sit-down dinners or 200 for stand-up reception.
• Available nightly from 7 — 10:30 p.m.
• Food, tables & chairs provided at additional cost through approved caterers.
• Drink and bar options provided by the aquarium.

River Gorge Explorer
Sip cocktails while the River Gorge Explorer takes you on an exciting cruise down the Tennessee River.  This high speed catamaran is the perfect place for you and your employees or clients to enjoy breathtaking views of the Tennessee River Gorge as well as the Chattanooga Riverfront.  

• $2,000* base rental fee for a 2 hour cruise.  (*may be subject to a fuel surcharge)
• More time can be reserved at an additional cost of $750 per hour.
• Accommodates up to 70 people for early-bird, afternoon lunch or sunset cruises.
• CD, DVD, and powerpoint are available on the boat.
• Limited catering and beverage options are available. Contact us for details.
• Now through August 16, book the 6pm Susnet Cruise and receive an additional hour for FREE.

 

IMAX 3D Theater
For a truly "dimensional" experience, the IMAX Theater and Great Hall is the place to be. Enjoy a private viewing of one of our current shows and enjoy hors d'oeuvres or dinner in the Great Hall. With a screen six-stories high, the IMAX 3D Theater is truly a multi-dimensional experience.

• $1,500 rental fee for up to 150 guests. Additional guests $7.75 each. Weekend rentals may be subject to additional fee.
• Great Hall accommodates 300 guests for receptions or 150 for sit-down dinners.
• Food, tables & chairs provided at additional cost through approved caterers.
• Drink and bar options provided by the aquarium.

 

IMAX Boardroom
Break out of the routine and get down to business. Select from one of our approved caterers to bring in lunch or chose from a variety of restaurants within walking distance for a quick bite out. Either way, our IMAX boardroom is great for any off-site meeting.

• Reserved theater seating available for $7.75 per person
•Accommodates 20 for regular meeting space or a reception up to 40.
