Hayley Wise

Watershed Educator

Areas of Expertise: Environmental Education & Environmental Policy

Hayley WiseHayley’s interest in water started at a very young age, playing in the creek behind her house and swimming any chance she got. Her freshman year of college, Hayley enrolled in a SCUBA diving class where she learned to dive in the springs and rivers of Florida. Through this experience, Hayley discovered her passion for water conservation.

After working with the Natural Resource Conservation Service in Madison, WI, Hayley found her way to Chattanooga and the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute. As Watershed Educator, Hayley works with a variety of groups to educate individuals about freshwater conservation and the roles they play in protecting our rivers.  These groups include high school students, land trusts, recreation guides and other community organizations.
