Serve and Protect
Three savory species, two top chefs, and one quick-witted host.
Excitement is building for Chattanooga’s tastiest event to support the Tennessee Aquarium’s mission-critical work. Join us on Thursday, September 15 for a lively celebrity cooking show followed by an elegant seafood dinner in one of the Aquarium’s galleries.
Longtime friends chefs Virginia Willis and Tamie Cook will make your mouth water as they whip up sustainable seafood dishes side by side on stage. This dynamic duo will be joined by Kim Severson, award-winning New York Times food writer and author, who will serve as emcee for this evening of deliciously smart fun.
Willis and Cook will add their uniquely southern spin to seafood as they tempt the audience with catfish, crayfish and squid entrees. These sustainable choices may have mild-mannered reputations, but when called upon for special occasions, their superpowers of robust flavor, richness in nutrients, and All-American protection of the ocean is revealed.
Afterwards, an intimate, elegant seafood dinner, prepared for you by one of Chattanooga’s top chefs, will be served in an Aquarium gallery. Finally, you’ll mingle over dessert with our celebrity chefs in the lobby of River Journey.
Be among the first to purchase a table for one of Chattanooga’s favorite events! Seafood wit and wisdom combine with cooking for a cause to support the Aquarium’s mission-critical work.
