Outreach and Distance Learning
The Tennessee Aquarium brings the fun and excitement of learning to your classroom. We offer programs for all grade levels covering a variety of topics. Reserving an program is quick and easy!
Outreach programs are taught by an Aquarium educator in your classroom. Distance learning uses Google Hangout to stream live into your classroom. Please have at least two or three alternative dates in mind in case your first choice is unavailable. Who to contact:

For Distance Learning and High School Outreach, please contact us to discuss program offerings. For elementary outreach, see our program descriptions to decide which program is right for your class. When you register, please provide the following information:
• School or organization’s name
• School or organization’s address
• School or organization’s phone number
• Grade level of participants
• Number of children per class
• Date(s) and time(s) you would like your program(s)

Outreach Program Fees: (applicable for programs presented on the same day at the same venue)
Auditorium Program Fees (outreach):
Rainforest Shuffle Program......$250 per program
Maximum Number of Students per Program:
All classroom programs are limited to a maximum of 30 students for outreach programs. Auditorium programs are limited to a maximum of 200 students.
There is a charge of 47¢ per mile (round trip). No mileage fees for Hamilton County or within a 10-mile radius of the Tennessee Aquarium.
NOTE: Hamilton County, TN only - there is no program fee for Title I schools.
