Tropical Holiday Adventure
A whole new cast of friendly animals will greet visitors at Ranger Rick’s Backyard Safari. Brightly colored birds bring smiles as they free-fly through the gallery and entertain from the main stage. Meet “Daisy,” a trumpeter hornbill, “Butch & Sundance,” a pair of red-fronted macaws and “Dodger & Fagin,” a pair of pink-crested cockatoos who join “Boo” the African gray parrot.
The Caribbean vibe continues in Ocean Journey where you can feed stingrays and guitarfish, be surrounded by butterflies and talk to divers as they float among colorful reef fish.
New this year will be weekend appearances by SCUBA Santa who will be diving in the Aquarium’s Lake Nickajack exhibit in River Journey. Look for the jolly old elf among paddlefish, sturgeon and catfish at 11 am on Saturdays and Sundays November 19th through December18th.

New Year’s Eve Sleep in the Deep
