Why does a turtle have all those points? How is that fish able to rest and not swim? Why do penguins wear a tuxedo? Animals use specific behaviors and adaptations to survive in their habitats. Throughout the week, we will explore animals as we learn about how they tell us the health of the environment. Splash and paddle through nature’s waterways, and immerse ourselves underground by crawling, climbing, and sliding through a local cave.

*Partner Camp with Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center
During this action-packed, mostly outdoor camp, you will explore how scientists care for wild animals in indoor environments and in nature. Go behind the scenes at the Aquarium to meet and touch animals and learn the basics of wildlife science through active simulations. At Reflection Riding, meet wild animals where they live in nature as we hike, canoe, and capture small creatures from pond to creek. You will also learn how to welcome wildlife to your own backyard!
