Spring Break

March 15 - April 7, 2019

This Spring Break, kids can dive into a world of uncharted wonders - with the opening of the all-new Island Life gallery. Kids of all ages will enjoy the interactive features as they explore the exhibits meeting colorful fishes and amazing creatures from some of the world’s most remote locations.  Also for spring break, two specially themed Island Life programs offered in addition to the Aquarium's schedule of daily animal programs!

Island Life Spring Break Programs (March 15 - April 7)

1:00 pm - Seahorse Feeding (Boneless Beauties - Ocean Journey Level 2) – Like chameleons, seahorses have googly eyes that are used to spot prey and avoid predators. These armored sea creatures have voracious appetites. Watch them slurping up a mid-day meal as an Aquarium experts answers your questions about these steeds of the deep.

2:00 pm - Island Critter Close-Up (River Journey lobby) – Because of their isolation, islands have an amazing array of plants and animals. Get up close to an island critter and quiz an Aquarium educator about how islands shape the lives of island-dwelling creatures.
